Date: 2013-07-15 10:30 pm (UTC)I think that's how it'll work best, because most musical songs won't have a single discrete video clip - you could take care to nominate a specific, say, Youtube clip of a specific performance, but if that particular (visual as well as vocal) acting performance isn't key to your understanding of the song, it's probably easier just to nominate the song.
I should probably do some thinking around the best way to differentiate different performance versions, though, in case that turns up later as an issue.
