My idea for this comes from several years of seeing songs requested in Yuletide, an annual rare fandom gift exchange. Prompts often read like "What is the narrator on about?" or "This part really struck me..." And below, here's a prompt I filled, myself, in one Yuletide round:
Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up) (Song) This Florence + the Machine song has a gorgeous, epic quality to it, and the lyrics imply a story both mythic and intense, full of transformation, sacrifice, consequences, menace, and strength. There are a lot of possible directions you could go, a lot of possible interpretations, and I am open to any and all of them, as long as the overall feel of the piece in some way captures the atmosphere and drama of the song.
