You should now be able to access your assignment from your Archive of Our Own account. Thanks to CJ for sorting out the assignment interface problem with a handy tip.

I will post initial pinch hits tomorrow my time. Also upcoming: beta posts, and a playlist of all requested songs.

Assignments are due at midnight EDT between the 27th and 28th of May (Sat/Sun), or 4am UTC 28th May, or 4pm NZST 28th May. If your assignment does not seem to match what you offered, please email jukebox.mod@gmail.com as soon as possible, and I'll look into it. Otherwise, please submit a work to match one of your recipient's songs in a medium they requested for that song, taking note of their Do-Not-Wants, before the deadline.

Unrelated comment. How do you post without giving away the requestor's fandom and spoiling the surprise? I see some writers have managed it because the fandom list is so small but as it requires something in that field, how do I get around it.

I don't think they're 'managing' it, so much as posting in fandoms that have not yet been wrangled. Those fandoms show up in the Uncategorized Fandoms category of AO3, but they don't show up on the exchange's fandom page. Depending on what your fandom is, the same may happen for your work.

My personal feeling is that if people want the surprise spoiled, they can look at the fandoms page, and if they don't, it's on them not to look. If you don't have a strong preference, I'd prefer you to enter the song you are posting a work for.

If it's very important to you for that not to happen, though, there is a technical 'solution': you can put 'No fandom' or 'Original work' in the fandom field. But please switch it out before reveals.

This may affect wrangling, though, if you are posting the first work that has been created for that song tag on AO3. I don't know when wranglers are handling the fandoms. They may not wrangle the fandoms until works are revealed. They may do it earlier. If you post the first work in a fandom, in an unrevealed exchange, the fandom will automatically appear in the Uncategorized Fandoms bin (http://archiveofourown.org/media/Uncategorized%20Fandoms/fandoms), not on the Jukebox fandoms page. When sorted by a wrangler, it will appear on the fandoms page of the collection.

I don't know if things look weird to wranglers when a story is posted with a dummy fandom first, then the real fandom is switched in later.
