Thanks for asking! People are banned only if they did *both* of the following things:

-defaulted (or posted late such that a pinch hit was required)
-didn't comment.

So I'm only checking for comments among those participants who did not turn in their assignments on time last year.

You are definitely welcome to email me if you want, but it would be in addition to the check I am doing.
